In Memory of our Company Founder Thomas Geutebrück

Thomas Geutebrück passed away on 25 November 2019. We mourn the loss of a remarkable gentleman who followed his uncompromising intuition. During this difficult time we wish his family a lot of strength.
50 years ago, almost to the day, Thomas Geutebrück founded Geutebrück GmbH the garage of his neighbour. There, an international triumphal march of a brand began, which is synonymous today with a unique video security software of its own. In over 70 countries, museums, public authorities, critical infrastructures, industrial companies and international banks have placed their trust in Geutebrück.
Thomas Geutebrück was a pioneer, visionary and inventor. He made sure that his company showed all the skills that a demanding clientele expects from a medium-sized, family-run future-oriented company from Germany: quality, reliability, innovation and enthusiasm.
The employees who had the opportunity to personally experience him commemorate a man with a sense of humour and a great boss, for whom they walked "through the fire". And for those who only heard of him in stories, he will always be a role model.
As early as the beginning of 2000, Thomas Geutebrück retired largely from operative and strategic business life and handed over the management of the company to his daughter Katharina Geutebrück. She has shared the management of the company with her husband Christoph Hoffmann since 2012.
We, the employees, are very proud to be a part of Thomas Geutebrück’s legacy and we shall greatly miss him.
The farewell will take place on 20th December at 3 p.m. in the company headquarter of Geutebrück GmbH, Im Nassen 7-9 in Windhagen.
